Ah yes, I thought this was a blog and not an actual legal document and simplified language could be used. I didn't realize you needed everything spelled out in it's entirety to understand it. My fault I suppose. I will keep this in mind for the future :)
Dunno how tailoring your comments to allow people to understand your thoughts makes it a legal document. Cool hyperbole though. Seems we have found your forte.
Homie, you need to step off real quick.
Lol or what? You've been going back on yourself so many times you'd probably knock yourself out if you're making threats over here. And since you are trying to get big, I'll put the piece that I deleted re this comment:
lolRCscrewyou wrote: +1 I'm done. It went from "schools have their preferences" to nit-picking of language. Zero interest in continuing this conversation.
It went from "Most of the T14 prefer reverse-splitters" to "I didn't say that." Of course you have no interest in continuing this conversation, because it makes no sense to change your mind this many times unless you're MPD. In which case, idk which of you has zero interest in continuing the convo.

Actually, please don't do so. I have no desire to reply to you any further. Continue to be a jack if that's what makes you feel better though.

Ahhhhh...I see how that works now. Makes sense when you plug the "some" in there.

Apparently they don't release anything until February. I'm assuming late February. I'm just assuming I'll just die before I hear scholarship information. :|

At least you didn't have to live first hand the panic of being told at the open house by financial aid office folks that Merit $ doesn't go out until April.

Yes, they were talking about financial aid which is separate from the merit $$ decision. Someone in admissions said that the timeline would probably mirror that of previous years, which would put the first decisions coming out around February.

Hahaha yeah. I think it was BirdLawExpert went and talked to the admissions office and they said the historic timeline is going to be accurate for this year (notifications in February and March) but still wouldn't give a solid timeline. The financial aid office doesn't deal with merit $, so it makes sense they didn't know what they were talking about (and very well may have been told that everyone getting merit $ will know by april, and misinterpreted that).

The person leading my session wasn't even talking about financial aid. Someone asked about the timeline for merit $$$ and she said April. Which was what here was definitely a momentary panic. She frequently re-iterated the fact that their office doesn't handle merit $$$ though.

Yeah...like three people asked throughout the session and she always said April for merit $$$, and I did my best to live in denial and block it out hoping that she was mis-informed. Glad admissions re-affirmed my suspicions of them sticking to past timelines though. ::breathes sigh of relief::

Well, I received my login but can't actually log in (says my username/pw combo are incorrect.) Anyone else experienced this? Somewhat confused

I had the same thing, as did many other people here. The ability to create credentials is triggered when they send out the letters, and it can take up to a week for the credentials to actually become active for you to be able to log-in. I think I got my letter in the mail on a Wednesday or Thursday and couldn't actually log into the ASW until that morning.

From browsing last year's thread, it looks like feeler emails (i.e. them asking how much $$ would it take to impact your decision to choose Georgetown) started going out in late February.

According to the class of 2018 thread, the feeler emails went out first week of February.

Did you happen to notice how long after the feeler emails people started getting award notifications?
