Maybe those are coming later and/or there's no separate invitation this year? With your stats, I would think you are someone they would want to invite to interview for the big $$$.

Hopefully they are changing the way they consider Mordecai recipients so that lowly ppl like me can be awarded one...or at least invited.

To be fair, it does suck if being over both 75ths doesn't get you an acceptance.

I have above 75ths for every school but Harvard and Yale and I've gotten in nowhere so far and my status has updated virtually nowhere as well. I applied with the same numbers 2 years ago and got into only Berkeley with no money. I expect to get this at every school this cycle as well. Yes, my life sucks.

I applied to everyone in the top 14 in mid October. Interview at Cornell with no following response and upcoming interview with Chicago. That's the extent of my developments. Friend I know with lesser numbers is currently rocking admission to NYU, UVA, Georgetown and Berkeley.

I guess that's fair...But it's not like Duke is tippy top of the food chain. Should be competitive for CCN and even HYS.

Though this part is curious and definitely supports the bolded. I'd be interested in an overview of your app as well (by the adcomms to see what went wrong). Have you asked for a summary after the cycle to see why you were rejected? Some schools will do that for you. Might be valuable to look into if things don't go well this cycle.

Seems like the scholarship app can't really be completed until January, when Needs Access becomes available and the interviews begin.

I wish I could do the same! I have to commute to work, so there's no way I'll be able to interview before or after the work day. I might have to do it over my lunch break or after work in one of our conference rooms!
