Also, in case anyone is curious admitted students are not required to fill out NeedAccess in order to be considered for merit awards. Just email them and let them know you're not being considered on need and they'll send you the merit application
I called yesterday to ask this and they said they cover ASW costs based on need, and you need to fill out NeedAccess for them to do so.

So is there any consensus on how long it takes to go from UR2 to DLS? Or does it just vary a ton from one applicant to another?

I went UR2 almost a month ago. I think it's variable.

It usually takes some time to be able to log into the ASW (it took me about an hour or so to get in).

Just glanced at your past posts. Given your numbers, there is no way this is a ding. It might take at least an hour or two to get into ASW, as chocolate noted.

Ease your nausea...try to log in the admitted students site. I went DLS today and I was able to log in.

DLS on status checker, and I can log in to the ASW. Below median LSAT, >75 GPA, more details via PM. Submitted mid-to-late December.

Anyone have insight about the worthwhile-ness of the alumni-luncheon events for admitted students? Deciding if it's worth skipping class for.

Absolutely no insight, but I'm gonna skip out of work for a while to go.

1. It's a free lunch. God help me if I ever turn down a free lunch.
2. It should be good to meet some other people in your area who might attend (I'm in DC).
3. Did I mention it's a free lunch?

Yeah, DC area for me too. It'd be a missed day of classes and a long drive, so I can't decide...

I got the call! What an incredible surprise. I am so happy. NYU is my top choice. Submitted on 12/20, UR1 1/1 (I think?? I don't remember a date before that, but there might have been), in via call today.

edit: date

Have been UR since early October and haven't heard anything yet. Have heard from every other school I applied to, basically, but NYU - anyone else in this boat? Really, really like NYU and wondering what's up.

Yep. Same boat for me - 10/5. I'm assuming it means a ding is coming my way

Does anyone know, based on past years, if there's any hope for RTK/other scholarship consideration for someone who hasn't heard back regarding admission at this point?
