Thanks! I definitely have a few blemishes on the undergrad transcript so I wasn't so sure, but I also think I had really specific programs of interest there and that probably carries a lot of weight with them.miku015 wrote:Congrats!!! Re: Michigan Law School C/O 2019 Applicants (2015-16)
Pretty sure the answer is no, but has anybody been accepted off the waitlist yet? I was waitlisted mid-February, GPA < 25 and LSAT @ 50. I've planned a visit to Ann Arbor in April to show my interest. I've heard anecdotally that Michigan factors campus visits pretty significantly into decisions about WL applicants and I'm hoping it'll give me just enough edge. Has anybody heard similarly or otherwise? Any tips on LOCI timing before/after the visit, or how to characterize myself in the meeting with an admissions officer?

Hi all. I just withdrew my acceptance. It absolutely killed me because I really could see myself loving it at Michigan, but it just isn't the right fit for me and my husband. I hope this opens up a spot for one of you waiting. Go Blue!

We need to grab a beer in real life sometime bro. I hope we end up at the same school.BirdLawExpert wrote:Slightly less interested nowOtterLaw wrote:Hi all. I just withdrew my acceptance. Totally up for this, except you're going to get into Harvard so the UT/UVA conundrum will solve itself haha.OtterLaw wrote:We need to grab a beer in real life sometime bro. Waitlisted via email about 10 minutes ago. 3.77 GPA/175 LSAT. Kind of surprised, but so it goes.
