I mean if you can get them to do phone or skype, then I am sure that you'll be able to find 20 minutes to interview.
My email didn't make any mention of a Skype interview, it seems as if it's only in-person interviews with alumni in the area.

Specifically, there's this bit in the FAQ attached to the email:
"Who will conduct the interview and where will it take place?
Interviews are conducted by Alumni Interviewers around the country. We will attempt to match you with an alumnus in your area. If no interviewers are available in your area, we will promptly return your application to review with the Admissions Committee."
When you register for the interview, it will ask you about your interview preferences (in person/Skype/phone).

I declined an interview request because (1) it said that not participating wouldn't hurt me, and (2) I didn't know Skype/phone would be an option, and was worried I would have to travel a distance as I really doubt any Georgetown Law alums are practicing near my location. Should have checked here first about those options. Will this be a big negative?

Got an interview request today also. I'm above 75th LSAT and between 25th and 50th for GPA. URM. I guess it's my GPA and late app that did me in. Makes me very nervous about Stanford and Berk. :(
Don't worry-I also got an interview request today and am above both 75ths, and I'm already in at Berkeley. It's not at all a bad thing to get an interview request!
Thanks, that makes me feel a little better! Congrats on Berkeley! :)

Long time lurker, first time poster. Applied RD, part-time. Update on 1/28. I live/work in the DC area, so I can (try to) answer any questions y'all may have about our nation's capital and/or Northern Virginia.

Status update to 1/28...no interview request yet. I'm at the medians. Should I be worried?

Just got a status update on my ED today too. Not at three weeks yet though. Goodluck! You're probably either going to get dinged tonight/Friday night, or see an acceptance letter in that mailbox in a few days. I'm usually pretty optimistic so I would put my money on that acceptance letter.

Any of you able to request a password?

Also, is county of citizenship showing up in your status checker suddenly? That was a cue that you were in from last year.

I'm actually at day 26 on ED, I may call to see when I should be expecting a decision. Hoping my letter is just lost in the mail.

What effect does applying as a binding decision have on your application for GULC?

You give up most (nearly all) of your scholarship bargaining power in exchange for a slight bump in admission.

Still no letter but I can login to the ASW. Worried that I'm the anomaly.

Please forgive my stupid question in advance, but does early decision mean that they either reject or accept you, or do the ED folks get waitlisted as well?

Do you mean that the field is filled? Or that it exists at all?

Filled. So far I haven't seen it be an indicator for anyone this year, but who knows.

No password. And yeah, do you mean that the field shows up at all or if there is a country listed. The category is listed on mine, no country though. I'm also not sure if it's been there the whole time.

I'm not found on ASW. From what I read earlier in the thread, other ED applicants sometimes got a waitlist email a few days after the 3 week deadline. Good luck to everyone waiting! I'm freaking out every time I get a new email haha.
