I think the people on TLS who reported dings on the 20th were doing so based on the DLS status in their checker, not based on having received the actual letter. I could totally be wrong, though.

Yeah, historically, DLS this early means a ding . In past years, you could call the office once your status changed to DLS to find out whether it was a ding or a WL.

This sounds scary.

Also, thanks for the love. Would have chosen Harvard over Stanford anyway so I can't complain in the least.

Just FYI, the change includes everything disappearing in the status box (i.e. where it used to have "Current Status: Your file has been submitted for review" and the date) and the red writing above in the center changes from "Your application for admission to Stanford Law School is now complete." to " A decision letter has been sent."

Hey Specs, I wouldn't give up yet. When I checked my status checker after Dean Deal called me, it also just said DLS. So it could just mean that you'll be getting an admittance call soon!
