These limbo schools can really screw with you. Michigan is ignoring me and Northwestern accepted people yesterday who had worse numbers then me and who applied after I did.

I just want to start planning my ASWs and finally stop shrugging my shoulders when people ask where I am going!

Anyway real question time, did everyone who got the we didn't forget about you email send a LOCI? I didn't cause I thought it would delay my app even more but maybe I should?

I'm in the same situation myself. The cold shoulder is killing me here. I practically gushed at them in the "Why UMich" I wrote for my app, so I thought an LOCI would be unnecessary. Then again, my lack of response might be saying otherwise.

In the same boat as you two but i wrote the LOCI. Had a nice response from admissions saying they appreciate my continued interest. no further contact other than that. here's to dreaming.

Well I guess I am going to write one tonight because as of today people are getting in with worse #'s who applied after I did.

Damn bro congrats. I had a similar reaction last year with similar numbers (my gpa was only a bit higher and still below 25th).

From the admits today it looks like Michigan fighting to keep that 169 median, too.

I'm a Michigan native and the last two days have been rough on me. You don't ever get used to biting wind.

ETA: And I'm a biological space heater. My mother didn't wear a coat when she carried me, and I was born in spring.

I'm a native (also have terrible circulation) and I am uncomfortable about 6 months out if the year. Yesterday I wore two coats to drive to the gym and still was still cold. It's offensive to me that cold was put in quotation marks.

Buy a space heater. I'm not sure how much is my shoddy circulation and how much is the cold, but if I sit still for too long (studying for four hours) my feet turn a lovely shade of blue during the winter.

I love Michigan and I'm never moving away if I can help it, but you should fly south or to California. Although barring Stanford I think you're stuck in the cold for your law school career.
