My best friend (who is now a 3L at Duke) got in off the waitlist the day before he was supposed to start at Hastings, so I do know it can get pretty last minute. It obviously worked out for him, but it can be stressful just a heads up.

Got accepted to the JD-LLM program some months back, only was able to apply for financial aid with all the documents sent off about two weeks ago, am dying to hear about any scholarships -.-

Have you guys checked your status checkers? They update them to say when a scholly letter was sent out. I got mine about 3 weeks after submitting my forms. Good luck!

I literally just checked my status checker 5 minutes ago and a scholarship letter was mailed out today. It was a 3 week turnover after my form submissions as well.

The difference in scholarship money will probably solve my Duke vs GTown battle...hopefully the snail mail gets here soon.

Let's make a ~~suicide~~ scholarship pact that if either one decides for sure we're not doing the Duke JD-LLM, we call up to cancel so they can offer more money to the other guy, haha

It's nice that a few of us are in the exact same boat...we can contrast and compare if needed to figure out what scholarship leverage we have with the school (if any

)

and for those that have received decisions, does it say "letter will be mailed" even if you receive an acceptance/WL/ding via e-mail?
