I applied as a non-resident. I heard that they are more selective with CU undergrads, but I don't know how true that is.CanadianWolf wrote:Patriot29: Did you apply as a resident or non-resident of Colorado ?

Patriot sorry to hear that
Best of luck with the rest of your decisions!
if that were the case. It referenced scholly letters in general
With the way mine was worded, I read it as some have been mailed out and that they expect to have others out before the Open House which is at the end of next week (right?). That could also be worded as 'the next couple of weeks' maybe? Who knows! My contact said s/he mails them out, FWIW. Wait wait wait, it's all we dooooo!

lolllll no. I'd be like, WoOoOo SCHOLLYptblazer wrote:Haha, thats probably the reason Krad didn't want to quote it verbatim because it went something like this. "Krad your scholarship is in the mail and should have arrive sometime this week or early next week, but definitely before the open house."bananeez wrote:I got a slightly different response asking the same question (before I saw it posted here) -- They told me that they hope to get them out in the next couple of weeks.![]()
Maybe the response was from two different people? Maybe they want me to wait longer than Krad?

Just fyi, residency status plays no part in the consideration of your application. Zip. Zero.CanadianWolf wrote:Patriot29: Did you apply as a resident or non-resident of Colorado ?

No, I finished law school a long time ago. Occasionally I advise applicants, however.

I can't come to ASW, but if we both wind up going CU, I expect a cupcake!typ3 wrote:I will buy everyone- who wants one- a cupcake at ASW if I get in before then.
And I'll buy you a celebratory drink.

Stop telling yourself that you need that full ride to Indiana. All the cool kids are going to Colorado. Plus, Krad said she would bake cookies the first week for her entire section... How can you turn down that offer?

EDIT: This thread is more than double the length of last year's. Thanks for keeping it awesome 2014.

Hahaha I probably would bake cookies (I love cooking!) if I weren't all nervous/stressed during the first week of school. Maybe I will regardless, you never know
OH I'd joint that thread more often, but I don't know how it'd be received...
