Send a LOCI. That was always my strategy last year. Whatever the reason, it'll get your file in front of the admissions people. If you're meant to be UR still they'll just say "thanks" and not move you and no harm, no foul.osgiliath wrote:I'm still UR............

Re: Chicago C/O 2019 Applicants (2015-2016)
I've literally only gotten back "thanks for the continued interest" emails. I send my last LOCI I think 2.5 weeks ago, so maybe I'll wait for another week before sending another. Although honestly, I don't even know what to add anymore that's not, "like I said in my interview, I want to go here, so please let me in, because honestly, I'm super depressed every day about the lack of movement, and you can fix that. Don't you want to fix that?!"KMart wrote:Send a LOCI. That was always my strategy last year. Whatever the reason, it'll get your file in front of the admissions people. But seriously, what are you guys saying in your LOCIs? I've sent in a 'Why Chicago,' a LOCI updating them on my resume and why I think my new responsibilities at work will translate to law, and then another LOCI basically reiterating my interest and why I like the city. I'm completely and utterly out of things to say, but I've heard you should just keep sending LOCIs.

I think you now start threatening them about how powerful you will be one day and how you will make it your personal mission to ruin themgenericwit wrote:I've literally only gotten back "thanks for the continued interest" emails. For people who heard back 5/11, was your last UR update 5/11? Or was it an earlier day?

Applied in Feb and sat for the Feb LSAT, was never put on the waitlist. Got an interview request a week ago (obviously through devine intervention) and had it on Thursday - thought it went relatively well despite times I may have been incoherently rambling. Someone please say nice things and make me feel better. Also, what's the expect waittime to hear back after an interview?
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
