I would email after the interview. I emailed admissions as soon as I got his email about receiving my app and got a quick response.

Even if you did the basic thank you for your time, enjoyed speaking, look forward spiel that would be fine.

I was wait listed and I am going to visit UVA in March. The admissions office told me to "stop by" while I am there. Some people on this thread have mentioned "studying" before their interview. Just in case I find myself in an impromptu interview...what should I be "studying?" Any advice is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

To those of you who have written "Why UVA" essays after submitting your initial application and people who have sent a LOCI, who did you send the letter to? Just to the general admission office email address? Anyone send a snail mail copy as well?
