Are you international and just got the email or did Faye call you? If the latter, what time of day? It's for science
ETA: Just realized that this was post 499. I'm leaving TLS now to hopefully save my 500th for an acceptance

That is because the DLS status changed on the 14th and the letters arrived on the 20th. A DLS at this point in the cycle is always a ding though, right? WL's come out in April iirc. So, you don't have to wait for the letter to arrive to know your fate.

I think the people on TLS who reported dings on the 20th were doing so based on the DLS status in their checker, not based on having received the actual letter. I could totally be wrong, though.
Yeah, historically, DLS this early means a ding
. In past years, you could call the office once your status changed to DLS to find out whether it was a ding or a WL.
