Went under second review today 3/27 via status checker. Not sure what this means....

Because you are deciding where you are not only go to school for three years, but, chances are where you are going to live your life after that (at least until you find exit options). If that isn't of the utmost importance, that's your call, obviously.

for those of you still waiting to hear about scholarship offers, i called last night to get a timeline of when the rest of us would find out. they weren't that helpful, but are encouraging everyone to send in offers that they have already received so they can take that into consideration. hopefully we'll start hearing soon!

when did you get in? I got in on March 15, so it seems like an unusually long wait. I think I received scholarship offers within a few days for everywhere else. So far, BC isn't at the top of the list, but a substantial scholly could change that.

Also, BC was very prompt with my negotiation. Only took them 2 days to get me a revised offer.

Yah mine didn't take long either. Emailed them about scholarships, received a half-tuitiom scholly five days later. Above neither median.

I followed up without another email, I guess they are just not willing to negotiate with me. When I asked other stuff, always got fast response.

that is OK, I figured school can't negotiate with everyone, they always will have their preferred students.

I've pretty much decided on BC, still hoping for a bit more money but Boston is my goal and this is the best option...and the admitted student day made the choice much easier to make.

BC is my by far my top choice. I just have offers much higher from peer schools, and want BC to at least match.

But they won't respond to my emails/requests. So frustrating. BC, I want to go to your school. Please make it happen. Please. Please.

New Employment stats for BC Came out. 66/260 students got 100+ firm jobs (pretty much same percentage as last year), 6 got federal clerkships. Bit lower numbers than BU and fordham as a point of comparison. Higher than notre dame, wustl.

On the brighter side, there were only 12 students with school funded jobs.

In other news, this is happening. Obviously it is irrelevant to getting a legal job, but might be a worthy point for some considering studying here for the next 3 years.

Oh, and it involves condoms, which I imagine might be enough to get some people to read on its own.
