I think it is pretty obvious from the previous posts that we don't have SOs and thus can't engage in your silly hypothetical.
Can you not live apart during the school year? Cornell would let you make pretty serious $$ in NYU, whereas the others may not.

Don't go to Cardozo.
As for Fordham, see what kind of money they give you. I did a lot of research because it was one of my top choices earlier on and it's a solid school.
I'd jump at Cornell in that situation but maybe that's why I'm single

SO is my spouse. While I'd do long distance dating relationship, wouldn't do long distance marriage.

Coincidence that the one person with a SO in this conversation considered choosing Cardozo over Cornell to stay with them?Strange wrote:

LOL there are definitely bigger reasons most of us are FA than not being willing to commit.luxxe wrote:

Yeah, I feel like Fordham with some $$ becomes pretty cool... Passing up Cornell for 'dozo, even with a major debt load, seems like something along the lines of life-changing mistake...Strange wrote: Don't go to Cardozo.

It might be tough for a little while... but you need to keep the big picture in mind. Cornell will give you much better opportunitiescogitoergosum wrote:Yeah, I feel like Fordham with some $$ becomes pretty cool... Personally, the thought of cold winters alone in Ithaca with a spouse in NYC sounds terrible.cogitoergosum wrote:SO is my spouse. While I'd do long distance dating relationship, wouldn't do long distance marriage.
I'm single, but if I were in your position, I would shoot for Fordham
Also, you still have a chance at Columbia, right? If so, I send all the positive forces of the universe to you getting accepted there.
edit: I feel like a creeper for knowing that, I should probably stay of TLS for a while...

Wouldn't you rather just take out the extra loan money before moving a couple hundred miles away from your spouse?
I edited my post with the question, would y'all mind editing your quotes too?

I'm glad at least someone shares that feeling regarding the long distance marriage... I was deferred at Columbia tonight, so I'm not going to hold my breath there, but will do what I can with LOCI etc.

Only I'm sitting in the middle of a crowded library during finals week, so my outburst was a bit of an issue, but it is totally worth it.

Literally not a single person with my LSAT score accepted to Cornell yet (on LSN). Plenty above it, plenty below it, WTF?
