Went "Under Review" for the second date yesterday. Please put me out of my misery soon. Going to Duke would be an absolute dream, but I'm realistic enough to know it's a reach.

I am so not feeling good about this 3/5 update. There are so many people (including myself), for whom Duke is a super reach .. I hope 3/5 is not the update for dings... I will be happy with a WL!!!

how long after you were admitted when you recieved your financial aid envelope?

Did you already submit the supplemental form for Duke? You have to do that first, then you should receive an envelope 2-3 weeks later.

See, Moxy, as I am one of those people I am going to take a different outlook then you. Since Duke has already done a lot of their dings, we are the group that should get dinged but are instead special snowflakes that will be accepted to make this year's Duke class even better! Yep, that is it. We'll all get in, just wait and see.

Yup I'm in the same boat as you. From what other people have said I would guess we'll hear before the week is out if their timing is consistent across second reviews. That's a huge assumption obviously since the further down we get the 'harder' their decisions supposedly are, so we can just cross our fingers and pray.

Right I know that, it usually takes about 9 days from the other people I've talked to, so we've got about two more days, assuming its a little tougher this time for them to render decisions, I would say throw on an extra day, which is friday so that's why I said before the week is out hopefully.

Have any applicants in these large batches gotten in? I've only seen people get in on "one-off" updates...all of the groups seem to be either R or WL.

Well, keep in mind some people would say Duke is a reach and their numbers are 177/4.
