Re: Harvard 2012 applicants (class of 2015)
KB1 email. Shocked.
170 (twice--one score is 4 yrs old)
GPA smidge below median.
Non-URM.
Went complete: 10/17
Guess I wasn't just tossing that $85 application fee into a blazing furnace.

Re: Harvard 2012 applicants (class of 2015)
It's a rainy day in Gaza (I don't mean missiles, though as you've probably seen in the news those have been falling too), so I'm inside again on my break.
Congrats to yesterday's KB1 recipients! I'm still KB1-less, but the combination of the dates and numbers of recent KB1s is giving me a bit of renewed hope. KB, if you're out there (since obviously I've unmistakeably outed myself at this point) - a KB1 is all I want for Chanukah.

Hey guys,
So for Harvard the timeline is UR-->Complete--->KB1, is that right?
If I'm UR as of today is there likely any chance at all of complete and/or kb1 before new year's, or should I just not think about this until January?

You could potentially go complete before New Years, but given that they're going mostly in chronological order and haven't given out KB1s to anybody who has submitted after early November, it's unlikely that you could get a KB1 until January.

Not holding out much hope anymoreCurious1 wrote: Congrats. This is great news for you Hawkeye.

I've kind of reached the point where I just assume the worst and push H to the back of my mind. No sense getting all anxious over it. If I get something, then great. If not, then that's what I was expecting.

Just had my KB1. I was really nervous, and I'm sure that came across in the interview. She closed with "Is there anything else you want me to know about you?" and my mind went blank.

Any hope for KB2s this week, or do we think they are doing it every other week?

It seemed like they were going every other week until they dropped a few KB2s in there last Thursday, so who knows. So I guess we can hope.freestallion wrote:Any hope for KB2s this week, or do we think they are doing it every other week?

Dear Harvard,
I'm in at a couple T14s. Maybe you know that already. Maybe you know that I've been flirting with them, that I've been schmoozing 'em real good and telling them that they're the one for me. But I don't mean it, Harvard. I don't mean any of it. That NYU is just some floozy that I got Chinese take-out with once. She's not even as hot as her older sister. GULC? Please. She's just a booty call for when I'm real drunk and desperate.
You're my girl, Harvard. Don't be afraid to let me in. We can go slow- I'll shower you with compliments, take you out to Applebees, and afterwards we can pop a bottle of $7 Sutter Home moscato and watch Dear John with the lights off. This is the real me you're getting right now. Shoot me an email. Let me talk it over with KB. She'll let you know that I'm the one for you.
Those other schools don't mean nothin', baby. Let me in. I JUST WANNA LOVE YA, GIRL!
xoxo
