UR 11/19 here.
This.
I'm UR 12/1, looking like a hold or a jr 1 soon? I hope...

That's not exactly the sentiment I was hoping to cultivate.

Applied 12/19, UR 1/11. So it seems that in a month-ish I should expect a JR1 or a hold?

Whoa. It looks like Harvard's getting really hesitant with their admissions. Super weird. More than likely though all the high-number holds will be getting in. Maybe they're just getting a lot of people with similar numbers and want to weed out a couple of them. Also, congrats on Yale! That's AMAZING!

UR 11/22.
I wasn't expecting anything save maybe, at most, a waitlist come april-- but now that all you folks are getting fancy holds and such I'm feeling jealous!
Also, false hope is a bad thing to build. Hurry up and hold me Harvard, lest I dare to dream of a JR1... *grumble grumble*

Fancy hold? Everyone is getting held. You'll get it, just wait.

Been lurking in this thread, but you all seemed like you'd be interested: I got a JR1 this past week, and I applied 12/13. Unfortunately, I was in the mountains with no internet access for more than a week previous, so the call came as a complete surprise. I may have just made room for someone else...

I know this must have been answered, but how many people have been rejected from Harvard? It seems like they just do nothing or 'hold' - do they not straight-out reject for months?

Maybe, but I'm sure they have their reasons... Who knows, perhaps it's not meant to be. Though the full ride tuition available through the GI Bill and Yellow ribbon program would have been nice.

Does anyone know how to update their file? I have an additional writing sample I want to send. I e-mailed admissions and they said to send it through LSAC, but theres no update function I can find. Do we just snail-mail a printed package with a note to forward to Harvard?

Ok, JR1 this week. Short, but I think it went ok. Can you still get held after a JR1 or does that guarantee you an up or down decision?

I would call LSAC and ask, because I can guarantee that they want you to submit it with some kind of form attached.

I don't think you can once you've submitted you app -- instead of view/edit for uploads you can just see "view submitted application"

I stand corrected. Just send it in regular post (or converseley I am using a courier for my LOCI), including your name and LSAC #. No problem.

I have been UR since around 11/25. Do you think this means that I am finished, kaput, done?

Yeah I'm getting worried- every email I get tomorrow will likely give me a heart attack. I was hoping that my updated transcript would get sent before I hear from Harvard, but since it was only just processed by LSAC today that seems unlikely.

I'm UR 11/15 although my stats are certainly less desirable than what H usually goes for. It was worth the shot, though.

No, I'd put my money on more JR1 emails going out tomorrow.
