I don't remember exactly now.. it has been quite some time since then. haha
I applied in late October and went in evaluation in either January or February.

okay, back home now. Seriously almost crashed my car using the iPhone hah. Anyway, 169, low gpa w/ addendum, lots of WE. I was only under eval for what, like 2 weeks? I posted in this thread the day I went under eval so you can see the day I went under.

I better hold my excitement till I see if there's any money...cause daaaaamn UC system is expensive and only getting worse.

edit - also I did NOT send an email asking for them to look at me. I'm too scared of that after reading TLS a lot about people doing that and getting rejected the next day (I'm looking at you Northwestern)

Then I guess judging from the lack of responses to e-mails this week we can assume contacting them won't do much in the way of getting the ball rolling?

I'd say we should be seeing more decisions made after this week when all initial deposits have been processed. Some of us will be forced to wait until well into June because of people who've paid the deposit despite having plans to attend another school after they've made up their mind or have gotten late replies.

Hmmm, I'm doubtful about that. The recent jump in rankings could just be a blip on the graphics. Unless there are definitive signs predicting Davis' entrance into T20, I don't see people looking at Davis more favorable.

Selective is a relative term. Without knowing your exact numbers, we can't really tell you anything useful. As far as percentages go, the rate is probably like 20% or so...

I submitted my application the last day that they were being accepted (feb 2 or something i believe?). I got accepted via e-mail notification about admitted students day last week. I was Evaluation in Progress for about a month.

I did too. I thought that was great and really added the personal touch to the acceptance. What did yours say?
