What about early Nov complete ppl?

I'm wondering the same thing. We seem to be on the cusp of those reviewed (and deferred), and those being reviewed.

Any early Nov. applicants want to call in?

(I'm saving my phone call for when my status goes to decision....)

I just called to confirm they had recieved my updated Academic Summary report (there was an error that hurt my GPA) and the admissions lady said she would print it out and add it to my file. I asked if that meant I wasn't under review yet and she said they were still working through the pile and I could expect a decision on or shortly before 12/24 (Worst/Best Christmas ever). I am assuming most people who are EA Complete 11/13 haven't even been looked at yet.

I would think so, but I also think the 12/24 is just their default deadline for all EA people.

She told me that was the deadline for notifiying all EA applicants. I submitted on 11/02 and went complete 11/13 so I got the sense that I was at the bottom of the pile. I bet people complete in October will hear within a week. She was happy to discuss my specific timeline, so if anyone is really anxious you can always call. At least now I know not to be checking my status every 10 minutes.

I am fairly certain the app just says mid to late december. I doubled checked the admissions website and that is what it says.

I think Cornell promises a decision by the end of December. Michigan ED (and maybe others) notification date is 12/15.

I would bet they have compiled the numbers already, but not reviewed all the personal statements, etc. But considering the numbers they have deferred I think it's obvious there is somethign more to this. Also, my application may be literally the LAST one because the error was just corrected by LSAC yesterday. I wrote them an email 11/15 to ask if they would still consider me for EA and consider my correct GPA and they agreed.

true--i don't think it would even really be thinking that much about it at this point if they hadn't lasered out all of those deferrals over the past couple of weeks. they got me thinking everything was about to explode. i'll just keep telling myself not to expect anything until january and then be pleasantly surprised when something comes sooner. or not.

FWIW, I believe at least one candidate who went complete on 11/03 has been deferred already. So, it's they are reviewing them in chronological order, it should be good news for the October folks.

it seems like the rest of the decisions should start today. Although last year it started on the 2nd, then it was quiet for a few days, then it started pouring in daily from the 5th straight to right around the 25th.

Decisions were rendered on the 6th as well and that was a saturday. It was however a mixture of acceptances, rejections, and deferrals.

Ugh, nothing for me either. Then again, I expect we're pretty close to the bottom of the pile (I'm also EA Complete 11/11), so I think I'll just stop checking this one for a while.

Edit: but some overwhelming feeling I have keeps telling me I was selected due to my incredible softs, but only time will tell.

Similar stats and I feel the same way. Maybe they're securing their URMs and non-trads before anyone else?

I'm definitely a URM, and quite possibly could fall under the non-traditional too, considering my background and how I found myself applying to law schools, especially Top-20 laws schools.

I have been EA complete since 10/09. My status checker has not changed at all. I really hope I hear something by Christmas (and not a deferral). I am worried that they are saving my app for the first batch of rejects.

I'm pretty sure they have to let you know by Christmas. After all, aren't they shutting down from then until New Years?
