I vastly prefer them to "we are making calls again today." Yes, they are trying to be witty and cool, and I think they're succeeding. It does differentiate them from the cold professionalism of other law schools.

Well, to be fair, if you're going to accuse me of being biased towards Yale because I was admitted, you might as well say that I'm biased towards every school.crackberry wrote:No bias.tomhobbes wrote:I vastly prefer them to "we are making calls again today." i suspect everyone ITT is too intimidated by the mystique that TLS seems to have constructed around asha and thus they can't bring themselves to utter any words of blasphemy. if you do, she'll get you, man. if you've read harry potter, you'll know that an azkaban dementor pales in comparison to asha's prowess
personally, i have no vested interest encouraging me to slurp on asha's nuts, and just wanted to say that i find this thread's dynamics far more amusing than any of yale's tweets

tbf, if crackberry didn't attend Stanford for UG he'd be stuck on a waitlist at UIUC.crackberry wrote:To be fair, Kronk isn't half the man you are.notanumber wrote:I don't share your talents, Kronk.Kronk wrote:Beta move.notanumber wrote:(But seriously, Stanford is an awesome school)

Well, no, he's saying I wouldn't have gotten into SLS if I hadn't gone to Stanford UG (which is true). That said, I still would've gone to Berkeley ahead of Chicago, so his point is accurate, but his assumptions are deeply flawed.CardinalRules wrote:He's actually complimenting your alma mater, you know, if it makes such an enormous difference in your cycle.crackberry wrote:You hit me where it hurts every time.Kronk wrote:tbf, if crackberry didn't attend Stanford for UG he'd be stuck on a waitlist at UIUC.

You could just pick a school. I think that would do quite nicely.CardinalRules wrote:+1. In other news, I'm expecting some sort of negative news in the near future. Looking forward to some commiseration.

Well, (203) brought no good news to TLS yesterday. I wonder when we'll see the first bad news from 06520 trickle in.

Don't worry, we'll find a way to derail it soon enough. I can fight with Kronk over almost anything.
