With your numbers and URM status, you should get full scholarships to better schools.Luis Gomez wrote:I just got $$$ from FSU, could that increase my chances of $$$ at UF?

Went Under Review (fingers crossed)
Anyone who has heard back: what was your turnaround time from in review to hearing from them?

Re: University of Florida
I applied in mid-November. The status changed to "decision letter in transit" on 11/30, and I received the acceptance letter on 12/9. I go to UF for undergrad and today was our last day of class, so I don't know if they make decisions over winter break. Good luck!tallywhacker wrote:Went Under Review (fingers crossed)

Re: University of Florida
My status says "Documents missing, contact admissions". Upon contacting, I was told that this means that I said in the app that I'm taking the December LSAT and that they still haven't gotten the scores.
Does this make sense? Anyone else in same boat?

That's what I did.tallywhacker wrote: Also, did anyone else have to send in the app fee via snail mail? What did you do just send a check and a note that said for Mr. Ron Burgundy (or whatever your name may be)?

Same boat: Dec retaker; docs missing, contact admission.
I just went on LSAC to the "Report Status" page and it looks like the paper scores were sent out to schools on 1/5/10, or yesterday. So I am hoping the application will be ready for review by Monday.

Sorry quick question. I just submitted the application. What do I have to do now? Someone told me that they received an email? From what I understand I have to submit the $30 check and a form. That it?

Just wait for the email (about a week) and then you can pay online if you would like

Yes, you'll get an e-mail and I think you should be able to pay online once you fill out the information they ask you to on the site, then you'll be done and you'll get a status checker.belkin00 wrote:Sorry quick question. Yes. But they charge you another $2-3 as a convenience fee if you pay with a credit card. lolhorriblegb wrote:Just wait for the email (about a week) and then you can pay online if you would like
I don't remember sending any forms. I think LSAC has you print something out, but that paper tells you not to send it anywhere.

Don't worry, I've been "Reviewed by committee; decision pending" since 12/11horriblegb wrote:Well, still under review (12/18) and starting to get a little nervous, and I know there was winter break and everything but ahh! Anxiously awaiting

Re: University of Florida
"Reviewed; decision pending" can drag out through March, as they wait for withdrawals. It's a silent waitlist, if you will.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
