Just got put on the Reserve group again. Had applied in the past and was placed on reserve all the way through August. Improved my LSAT score and applied again, same result. Hopefully a better ending when it's all said and done though!

Last year's LSN shows mostly waitlists after 4/1, few rejections: http://columbia.lawschoolnumbers.com/ap ... t=decision

It was a really chill conversation, mostly. She asked why law, what my long term career goals are (if any), and asked some things personal to my PS and an addendum I wrote. Be familiar with your your application materials you sent them. Oh, she led with asking me about my wine making, since I included that at the bottom of my resume. So be ready for that sort of thing if you included any flair or whatever on your resume. I joked about how I made something more like grappa than wine; she made a face and joked about turpentine.

I may have smiled a lot.

Still nothing about financial aid :(
"We recognize that choosing a law school can sometimes be overwhelming. However, out of consideration for—and fairness to—the rest of our applicant pool, we do not support the practice of placing deposits at multiple law schools. Therefore, if you decide to hold a place at Columbia, we ask that you refrain from doing the same at other law schools. Should we discover that a candidate has made commitments to multiple law schools, Columbia reserves the right to revoke its offer of admission."

Are they serious? If I dont hear back from financial aid before 4/15, I wanted to deposit somewhere else just in case...now im scared.

I thought Asha said that the ABA forbids this...[/quote]

Is there anything for us to do about this? I find it so ridiculous and amateurish..
