Should we expect to hear from them today? When was the last deposit deadline for those offered a seat?

Another week in the life of a desperate waitlisted applicant. I think the deadline is today. I'm hoping for more movement this week, or rather, I'm perpetually waiting for movement, haha.

Honestly, it's kinda ridiculous that they said they'd update us July 5th and still have not sent anything.... If they were not planning on updating us they should not have written it in the email!

We write again to provide you with an update regarding the waitlist. At present, there are no available seats in the fall 2013 class. We expect, however, that some spaces will open during the next six weeks prior to the beginning of Orientation on August 15th. If and when seats become available, we will let you know immediately.

If you have finalized your law school plans and no longer wish to be considered for admission to GW Law, please let us know by reply email.

We wish that we had more certain news for you at this moment. Please know that we sincerely apprecaite (spelling mistake part of email )your patience as the admission process continues.

I'm sorry to hear that JJ. If determination and want were enough to get in you and GatorGirl should have been first admitted. Hope the best for you both. If you don't mind me asking, are you still considering waiting it out? And where are you planning to go if GW doesn't work out?

Exactly what I was thinking! The optimistic half of my brain is saying this may be without taking into account yesterday's developments, but that's just silly.

@fLaw School Bound Thank you for your continued support! Really, so many of you on this board have been incredibly friendly. I'm planning on holding out for the moment.... but I think I'm getting close to the end of that road

I don't think it's the end of the line, and more WL offers will prob come in the next two to three weeks, but I'm presuming it's just going to be much harder for some people to say yes after they already secured housing and started to make their way to other campuses.

I'm in that situation. I have secured housing in SoCal, and was offered a spot at GW last Wednesday. Now...I don't know what to do. I have until this week Wednesday to let them know.

According to a post on the GW class of 2016 facebook page someone was admitted off the wait list yesterday. So there may be hope for those still waiting. Good luck!

Did GW give us a date to expect updates? Also, I'm pretty sure that they're orientation started yesterday.
