5. Who in the world is Ryan Lee? He showed up on Sunday at the registration table and asked to sign in. We did not have a packet with his name on in it, but no problem on our end. We always make up extras for those few admits who show up without RSVPing. We didn’t question him when he said who he was – who signs in as an admit if they’re really not an admit? Well, apparently Ryan Lee does.

Re: Stanford C/O 2016 Applicants Thread
When I was applying to undergrad, I did Early Action (EA) to Stanford. I was deferred to Regular Decision, then waitlisted in RD, eventually rejected. Hated Stanford for four years after that. I don't even know why I applied to their law school. The saddest thing is I would definitely attend if accepted somehow. Zero dignity.

Me too! Well, I didn't hate them. I hate them a teeny bit now, but what can you do, eh?battlerifle13 wrote:When I was applying to undergrad, I did Early Action (EA) to Stanford. A sloth's maximum ground speed is 6 feet per minute. And that's only if there is a predator nearby. Does Stanford have any natural predators?helix23 wrote:can someone head over to the admissions office? I think they need a little help

I JUST WANT TO KNOW BLAH
submitted early October but file went from complete to incomplete due to them needing more info re: medical withdrawal from school, so my newer complete date is 1/19. Wonder if, in the case of a ding, they'd give me mine with January submits?

Not yet. I don't know what time they usually go out but I'm not gunna start thinking about the most efficient way to intoxicate myself until later this afternoon. I suppose I could be the chosen one to break the prophecy.

It should be soon man. Very soon. Whatever you do, don't say that you're busy and you'll call her back. There doesn't seem to have been any movement yet, so maybe she is doing it later in the day, or they are de-capitalizing a couple of days before instead of the day before... which would be sad.amonthofsundays wrote:Not yet. That would certainly be lulz-worthy but it would take a bolder man than I to do so.

Well I will certainly consider your offer to make the phone call but I hope you understand I need to sleep on this. I don't make such decisions so long after sunset and so far from dawn.

Yes, definitely call her. Inform her that you saw your email go lowercase on the status checker and thought you'd be proactive in getting your official acceptance confirmed. And please record that phone callManOfTheMinute wrote:It should be soon man. Very soon. Whatever you do, don't say that you're busy and you'll call her back.
