I was trying to edit this...but obviously just did something terribly wrong.. whatever. I was notified that I got a Dean's Scholarship on 1/17 and that a letter had been mailed, but I haven't received it yet.

Perspective: before I came to Ann Arbor my most expensive rent was $430/mo.

When did you apply? I was ED->RD, applied in early November (i think on the deadline).

But if you think they may WL/ding you, write one tonight and send it in. It might just be enough to hold you over.

Submitted a LOCI. Probably sounded desperate. For reference, while typing it I pictured myself sounding like the guy in Menace II Society with the double cheeseburgers.

FWIW, I was an ED deferral and I sent in a LOCI. I haven't received an acceptance, but I haven't been dinged yet either. But then again I probably just screwed myself and will get slaughtered tomorrow.

These limbo schools can really screw with you. Michigan is ignoring me and Northwestern accepted people yesterday who had worse numbers then me and who applied after I did.

I just want to start planning my ASWs and finally stop shrugging my shoulders when people ask where I am going!

Anyway real question time, did everyone who got the we didn't forget about you email send a LOCI? I didn't cause I thought it would delay my app even more but maybe I should?

I'm in the same situation myself. The cold shoulder is killing me here. I practically gushed at them in the "Why UMich" I wrote for my app, so I thought an LOCI would be unnecessary. Then again, my lack of response might be saying otherwise.
