GAAAAH. I am getting so anxious....UW is seriously my number one choice and now I feel like there is no way I'm getting in...what is with all these really random dings and waitlists? I feel like a tidal wave of rejections is looming...

I have been I/R since 12/1... You think that just means I have been denied, but they haven't sent me my rejection letter yet?

My status checker shows the decision was made on 3/3, but the decision letter was sent to me on 2/28.

Apparently, even though some checkers went to IR 12/1, they didn't actually start reviewing until mid-January, so I don't know that IR 12/1 means anything. I hope y'all get Decision soon, though!

I was thinking this too. At the same time, though, if you look at the LSN graph so far, it looks like they have accepted a lot of people who will probably go to better schools. So, I feel like they still need to accept more people to fill out the class. I could be wrong though. It is so hard to tell with all these crazy rejects and waitlists they have been handing out lately. Also, LSN is tough to go by, since the sample is so small. It very well could be that more people have been accepted than what we can tell right now. And of course, there is always the possibility that I am giving myself false hope.

At this point, I am pretty sure I won't be accepted. I just want this horrible, horrible process to be over so I can start planning my life for next year. I honestly feel like 3 months trapped in this limbo of "In Review" (LIES) is far worse than a rejection at this point.

I'm right there with you. Feeling like a rejection is coming. It's really frustrating to have been waiting so long too!! Obviously I'll be sticking it out because it's only a few more weeks, but I feel like it's inevitable

I wouldn't be surprised if you got admitted straight up.. or at least waitlist. Then again, I wouldn't be surprised if manatees at this point.

I wouldn't be surprised if William H. Gates read this thread, stormed into the UW Admissions Office, demanded the firing of the new Dean of Admissions, and then forced all those who were WL'd/Rejected for no sensible reason (See: Krad/Adjudicator) to be re-reviewed. Well, I would be surprised, but at least I can hope.

Yeah, that is what I thought too. Going in to this cycle, i thought i had a good shot...right around the medians, good softs...but after everything that has happened, being in review since 12/1, all the strange WLs and rejects...I'm losing hope. Oh well.
