Seems like USC admitted people with numbers a bit over their median but didn't yet get to the people who were really over their medians.

And not a single fellow 166 with a decision on LSN...really wish I had a test case to kinda see where I stand.

I was not quoting you, but reading comp is my nemesis lol. It was the only section I couldn't nail 100% even though it's all I studied.

http://usc.lawschoolnumbers.com/stats/1011/

not enough data for this cycle

http://usc.lawschoolnumbers.com/stats/0910/

so so 09-10

http://usc.lawschoolnumbers.com/stats/0809/

fairly well 08-09. one person with my exact numbers got in, and another with almost identical numbers got in.

I would say this year will probably turn out to be more like 08-09, since app numbers are back down to normal. But I don't know.

Not really sure what to make of this, because at 167/3.7 I should have a pretty good chance of admission.

Did anyone else with similar stats have movement yesterday?
Very interesting; mine still says IR 11/22
I have those exact stats, and I was originally IR 11/22 and got updated to IR 02/07. We're in the same boat. I wonder what this means. Why weren't we part of the DF 2/7 group?

I'm glad I'm not alone in this. I don't really know what to make of it...I just hope to get some sort of decision soon. Planning visits and such gets more and more difficult as times goes on.

Obviously we're not auto-admits, but I think it's fair to say our chances are good. Scholarship prospects, however, are more worrisome. Does anybody know how generous USC typically is, or how amenable they are to merit aid negotiation?

I'm looking for 166s without freakish GPAs such as yours :) I figure I'm a prime WL candidate, but hoping my softs/why USC essay can win them over.

3.5 isn't technically a splitter, 25th gpa is 3.46, splitter would be under that. Not trying to be a douche, just saying. You have over 75th lsat, over 25th gpa... good candidate picture.

I felt kind of small for posting it, but it was just slightly misleading, even if intentionally so. Congrats nonetheless on getting in, I'm really hoping for an acceptance but am part of the dreaded 11/22 crew.

Thanks, all... but after seeing so many great candidates getting waitlisted with autoadmit numbers at various schools, I don't think of anything as a gimme.... good luck to everyone!

I think so. I have similar numbers and was accepted as part of the DF 2/7 group. PM me if you want more info.

That being said, sub-167 accepts are relatively rare. I consider myself very lucky to have been accepted.

Wow. Just found out that my friend who applied on 1/18 got into USC. Stats: 169, 3.8. Very happy for him, but I don't get why USC is moving so slow. I applied 3 months ago!
