I went complete again today after 1/27 complete. I don't think you should read too much in to it. There was a set of people who went complete last week and nothing yet.

My complete date changed two times before I get a decision from W&L. I agree with you, we should not read too much into it. But, for me, it was a sign that my file is not ignored or lost. I am getting suspicious that something has happened to my file for the schools that i have not heard a word since November.

If you aren't getting a scholarship will you receive a letter telling you so, or is it only people that get a $$ that receive a letter? I'd hate to anxiously check the mail for the next few weeks hoping for something when nothing is going to show up...

I went complete in mid-November and didn't go to "decision mailed" until January 15th. I was accepted. Hope that helps!

i'll be visiting on monday. i'm definitely not expecting a good decision from W&L (3.3, 163, non-URM), but i'll only be an hour away from Lexington for part of spring break, so i figured i should visit since i haven't been there before.
my status also updated to the 02/26 date.

going to go ahead and post my theory of the new complete date of 2/26 peoples.

We weren't auto admits, but our files were noted for some reason to be
reexamined once W&L got offers out to auto-admits. Now we are being reevaluated.
Im going to go ahead and say this is a good sign.
Good luck to all.

Not too put a damper on your optimism, but I was in now way an auto-admit (166/2.51, Non-URM, still in UG, but with good softs/WE) and they accepted me a few weeks ago after being complete for only about three weeks. Due to W&Ls "holistic" approach to admissions, I don't believe they have such things as "auto-admits", as evidenced by their rejecting/Waitlisting of people with very solid stats stats and acceptance of a few people like me. I would agree that it is hopeful that they haven't rejected you, but they also haven't sent very many rejections out at all considering the influx of applications they had this cycle. I wouldn't begin to speculate on what this means for y'all, but I do know they are trying to pull up their LSAT median. So if you have a lower LSAT they could have been waiting to see how many high LSATs they get before considering the lower ones. Although, out of all the schools I applied to this cycle (which is 27), I do feel that W&L gave the most deference to soft factors and the idea of "looking at the whole file/applicant" was not just lip service with them, as compared to other schools. This is all just speculation though...

You're right, they do have a more holistic approach - but when I mean auto admits, I mean people with not just good numbers but people who were "the whole package."
Regardless, speculation helps kill time and is putting my mind at ease.
Let me enjoy it!

Congrats on the admit.

Doubt it, but if you didn't get one by now FUMA, I think it's safe to guess you didn't get one. I'm very very similar numbers to you, and I got a very small award.

Mine updated to 2/26 as well. I like your theory, but am a bit skeptical. I'm a non-URM 161/3.5x and am expecting a WL from W&L (how fitting, right?). At least in my case, my #'s are pretty weak for W&L, so I don't know if the update is a good sign. But who knows?

"decision reached, notification pending" today... 3.4/162, not expected good news, but here's hoping. How do they notify you?

Snail mail. (For time frame reference, mine took 3 or 4 days to get to New England)

Same here. My bet is that this ='s Waitlist. Last year a big batch of waitlists went out between 3/4 & 3/7.

same boat, am also hoping. for those that went 'decision reached; notification pending' today, did your current status date switch on 2/26? mine did: 3.5, 161, solid softs.

My status updated 2/26, then went "decision reached, notification pending" today. 3.4/163, solid softs, too. Don't know what to make of this.
