So much this. I went complete on 12/3 so seeing January completes with a decision is making me :(
This. Same boat here.

Has anyone submitted a Why UVA after your application? Was it successful?

I didn't do this, but I have advised many students to do so. From what I've seen, several were contacted soon after updating their app with the Why UVA.

168/3.9X - how plausible is getting a scholarship? Using LSN for addressing this question is a little tricky, as many either slightly alter their offers or don't list them at all. The averages say around 50-60K of a scholarship if I were to receive one. I'd obviously give negotiating a try, but other than that, if UVA would increase an offer in light of a June retake increase (it'd be the third take), then I'd be good with retaking.

Hi all, Checking in. (I'm very new to this forum, I was actually searching to see if anyone was asking for a free app fee code, since they gave me one i didnt need). Just posted my app yesterday after meeting with admissions etc back in November due to my nontrad path and low undergrad gpa. Did Binding Decision, so am eagerly anticipating a response. I did an extra addendum which addressed my experiences and why UVA as well, all included on first shot.

Anyone else out there with a low gpa get in yet? (Under 3.1)

as an Alumna, looking forward to a big Wahoowa!

Thanks for the input. I don't want to have any "what if" regrets, so I think I'll write one.

I opened the admissions package earlier and quickly read "135,000" on the letter thinking (unreasonably) that they were offering that big of a scholarship, when it actually refers to the town population around the school. It says late Feb is when scholarships start to get addressed.

Just submitted a LOCI because I'm 99% convinced/paranoid there's a WL email with my name on it ready to be sent tomorrow morning. With no word since 12/3, I'm getting more and more anxious.

I went complete a few days earlier than you and I only got an interview request last week so I wouldn't count an interview out just yet! Good luck.

Send in that LOCI! I got an interview request about 5 mins after an email acknowledging the letter. Just finished the interview so now it's the wait

I know there isn't a great way to do it without man power or an unnecessarily complicated email manager, but sending their newsletter to dinged applicants is about a Mike Tyson on the classy scale.

Communicate now with those who not only know what a legal education is, but can offer you worthy advice and commentary as you complete the three most educational, yet challenging years of your law related post graduate life.
