I don't want to be the bearer of bad news... I always like to stay positive, but I looked over last year's thread and for those who didn't get FR.. doesn't look good. Like us, there was a mix of borderline numbers and high numbers ( 175+) who were all denied over the next two months. If they follow last year, there will be a wave of rejections tomorrow. Alot of us will who did not get FR will get past the wave of rejections and wonder why we made the cut...but it seems like the rejection catches up to them in the following weeks. There was someone who went UR 11/01, did not go into FR and didn't get rejected until March

It may not look good, but neither does Faculty Review, really. 10% odds? Did you at least see one person who didn't get an FR email that eventually received an offer of admission? If so, then I don't have to resign my hope.

I looked over 50 pages and just got tired or doing it... I didn't see anyone get accepted in those pages and just a bunch of sporadic rejections... there were a few who kept dodging the rejection waves... but I never saw them pop up again to see what the final outcome was

I stopped around February 18th of last year ( when all the rejections came out for FR) if anyone wants to pick up where I left off

This was like a hurricane on my parade. Oh wellz, Berkeley would have been nice and I wouldn't have to move, but part of me is excited about moving for lawl school...

I think there was also a second faculty review batch, which included later/varied UR dates.

I'm bracing myself for rejection to avoid the hard hit fall. It's a defense mechanism that has served me well over the years. Damn it Berkeley, I would have taken you to a circus in Bermuda...

Another round of FR emails went out in mid-February. See page 8 of the thread. Unfortunately, thread dies out before we see if any of those actually got in.

No, stats don't mean anything now... If you look on last year's thread 163, 3.9 non urm was accepted over a 177, 3.8. There was actually quite of few instances like this

certainly not on purpose....I'm checking right now.
