Haha yeah. If they did before (seriously doubtful) I can almost guarantee they didn't this time around.smokeylarue wrote:ASW! For those multiple LSAT takes worrying that they average. I am proof that they don't!! 167/172/soso GPA ( think below median)

In today via phone call. 170/GPA around 75th %. I think me getting in first round of acceptances is clear evidence this cycle's going to be significantly different for everybody.
Went complete 11/03. I didn't check status checker very often. I definitely moved to UR at least a couple weeks ago, I think.

Whoa, I'm almost impressed with your 136. You're actually the first I've heard with that. And you still got in T6 so you're awesome!indigomachine wrote:And for yet even more reassurance. 136, 167, 170. Yeah, pretty sure they didn't average those shenaniganssmokeylarue wrote:ASW! In via DLS and ASW!!!
Thrilled to be accepted at one of my top choices! That and it's been almost an excruciating month and a half since I've had progress anywhere. For the curious, I applied 9/15 and have LSAT around median and GPA >75 percentile.

No way... typo? Is that really a 163?indigomachine wrote:And for yet even more reassurance. 136, 167, 170. Yeah, pretty sure they didn't average those shenaniganssmokeylarue wrote:ASW! I didn't think a person eventually capable of getting a 170 could even manage a 136. Are you that guy from Flowers for Algernon?

Re: NYU Class of 2015 Applicants
It's not a typo, but it has an explanation that's way less remarkable than *I studied my way out of epic-failure* haha (basically it was the proctor's fault). I got ridiculously sick the first time I took the exam (was puking 10min before it started), got halfway through and decided to cancel. Told the proctor several times I was sure I wanted to cancel and leave. Told me I had filled out everything I needed to cancel. Lieeeeees. Got scored for half the exam, not to mention the half I completed was done while feeling pretty wretched. Needless to say, an addendum was involved.
Honestly, I was more worried about the presence of 3 scores as opposed to them not accepting my explanation for the individual score.

Re: NYU Class of 2015 Applicants
based on who's been admitted so far, it seems NYU's setting a floor of 170 LSAT, anyone else get that impression?
sigh, guess my 169 is just shy of that purple envelope
