Look Cornell, you don't need to say yes for me to love myself. I can always go to Texas or Vandy. But you need to say something before I go crazy.

I'm pretty sure it was 11/1 and you had to be COMPLETE by 11/15 (someone correct me if i'm wrong though)

Yes, you had to apply by 11/1. They're lenient on the complete date (because that's on their end) but I haven't seen exceptions for the apply date.

I wasn't complete by 11/15-- in fact, my 2nd letter wasn't even submitted until after that, so the hold up was definitely on my end-- and I was considered EA/got my decision already

Yeah by "complete" I meant all your stuff should've been into them (they can check dates obviously)...whether or not your status says complete is up to them so i can't imagine they'd hold a later complete date against you if it was their fault.
Edit: just saw arism87's response.....^^ that's what I meant but I guess I was wrong haha

Yes. It is a printed letter with the same body as the acceptance email and a copy of the Alumni magazine.

When did you get it? Do you mind telling me your acceptance date and the roughly the date you received the package?
Because I will be out of the country for a couple of months and all of my mails will be forwared to somewhere else,I really want to make sure I get the letter.
Also, does it say anything about seat deposits or campus visits?

Admitted Monday 12/13 by email; packet on Saturday 12/18. I think it had all the seat deposit/withdrawal information but I really didn't read through everything. I can look when I get home from work.

Thank you very much! If you find out it contains any info on deposit/withdraw, could you please let me know?

Sorry, forgot to post here when I got my email, but:
IN!! via email on the 20th around 11:30AM!
172, 3.71, thought that I was definitely due for a deferral after seeing higher numbers get deferred. But, maybe my numbers are just the sweet spot for schools I applied to this year, which I'm completely fine with

+1 although don't fret just yet. I am taking this as a good sign that they did not outright reject me.

^^^ I'm in the same boat, processing as of 12/21, I applied EA, but one of my recommenders had their letter sent late, switching my status from complete to processing, and now the updated processing.
A quick question, would previous applications to Cornell bear any significance in the process? I made it to the final waitlist last year, and had an interview with the dean--would they take this into consideration, or are we all starting at the same fresh line?

Hmm, I am EA and under review as of 11/29. I wonder what the hold up is with my application! If a significant amount of EA rejections/deferrals/waitlists have already went out, I have no idea why they would wait!
Okay, fingers crossed for good news tomorrow

Got my status checker from Michigan today so Cornell is officially the last law school to still have me at processing.
I know it's normal but it's still kind of annoying
Santa,
Please bring me a complete from Cornell for Christmas
Thanks

Not yet. What's the earliest people hear/is there a benefit to submitting early? I can't bring myself to write the damn thing. If I were going to have to read a ton of extra essays I would pick a more interesting topic.
...Or perhaps it's my responsibility to make it interesting... /self.
