well im doing a big pub crawl for st. pattys on saturday (the dates are weird, dont ask, i dont get it either) so i guess ill either come home to good news or bad news, either way ill prob go out for more haha

I think my lsat counts for something though so hopefully the 3/5ers will here good news. keep your head up.

sorry to persist with the negativity (maybe i should jump over to the Pessimism) but id take a coinflip over whatever they have decided right now. I dont think its 50/50 though

The 3/5 DFs are the splitter batch then, I'm guessing. Curious to see how this turns out...since if they accept you guys that means they are presumably going to take reverse splitters as well Good luck!

I'm honestly expecting a ding; USC was a reach for me. GPA is a little over 25th percentile and my LSAT is below 25th percentile.

Yeah, seems mainly a ding batch since usc wl's by status check and rarely if ever accepts low gpa splitters - could be a handful of accepts mixed in

i completely disagree. USC needed to get their LSAT higher. they are falling way behind UCLA's numbers which they see as equal or better. UCLA's median was 168 last year, and will probably be higher this year. compare that with USC's 75% being 167. i think you guys are in!

i'll bet that all you splitters have at least a 168.... maybe 169 or higher.

Well I did briefly have that same thought about the push for a 168 gpa - and my turnaround was pretty quick. It would be a huge change to accept so many low gpaers, and thei aps are up 30%, but I like the way u think, and why not have a day or two left of positive thoughts.

Though there's at least 1 in this batch said they are at like 25% lsat I think

USC can easily make up for GPA through reverse splitters. Also USC usually has high GPA anyways just like most schools in California. And to climb the ranks, i believe the increase in LSAT will outweigh by a large margin than the slight drop in 25% GPA. Matter of fact their 25% GPA doesn't need to drop AT ALL. as long as the 24% of the Low GPA stay below their 25%. (you know what i mean)

which means same 25% GPA, but HIGHER 75% LSAT.

usually i'm very negative, and i might be as well if i was part the 3/5 group. but right this moment... I WISH i was part of the 3/5 DR.

I am a 168 IR. had 2 IR dates the latest one being near end of February.

also 168+ and good GPA might mean they may go to other schools. while lower the matriculating %? it may be YP.

NO, horrible GPA. a lot lower then USC's 25% GPA.

one of the 3/5ers along with you, (i don't want to out this person), we went into IR the first time at the exact same time. However this person is 3/5 DR...
