Fairly long, detailed letter from the dean, and a copy of the NYU School of Law magazine. The "Big Book" view book apparently en route.maudlinstreet wrote:packet, eh? what's in the packet?likeaspark wrote:Acceptance letter dated 12/14, packet dated 12/22ValiantVic wrote:Dated when?likeaspark wrote:Just came home to my acceptance letter...!!

Re: NYU 2010
I never got a complete e-mail from NYU. My first LOR was processed by LSAC on 12/2, my second on 12/3. Bizarrely, NYU did not request my second LOR until 12/16, which is after the postmark of my acceptance letter.rogerlodge wrote:when did you go complete?likeaspark wrote:Just came home to my acceptance letter...!!
Since NYU only requires one LOR, I suspect I went complete sometime the first week of December.

It's a 9x12 purple envelope. It only contains an acceptance letter and a deposit form. Nothing else.jocelyne wrote:what's in the acceptance package? Because all I got was a letter. =(

Re: NYU 2010
I got the acceptance letter (from Kenneth Kleinrock) in the purple envelope dated 12/14, and then a separate acceptance packet with a letter from Dean Revesz dated 12/22, as well as a copy of the NYU Law magazine.GeePee wrote:jocelyne wrote:

Just got the purple envelope with letter dated 12/21. I have a Q though: has everyone submitted scholy essays post acceptance letter? If so, how did you submit it?

Re: NYU 2010
The bluish purple envelope came in the mail on 12/24--impeccable timing. The acceptance letter was dated 12/21, and the envelope was postmarked 12/23. (I live in Brooklyn, which explains the 1-day service.)
I submitted on 12/2 and got notice of receipt on 12/8, but was never sent an application complete email.

I haven't checked my mail since I've been home from school. My purple envelope could be waiting for me, alone, in my cold mailbox. Poor guy.
