I'm one of those October completes they're still considering, though I'm beginning to wonder/worry that updating my transcript effectively pushed me back to a January complete date. It wasn't that much of a difference, but they haven't updated me since before they would have received it.

I emailed and asked if this would happen before I sent another LOR. Their response, in its entirety: "No."thalassocrat wrote:+1Rand M. wrote:Condolences to those who did not make it in.

Still UR 12/14 after first being UR 11/25.
Just realized that all of us who went UR on 11/25 are nearing the 6-8 weeks schedule for a decision that they mentioned on their website. So I guess we should hear something by Monday.

Helmholtz: Complete 10/13 and Under Review 12/21
Does anybody want to guess whether I'm looking at a rejection or a waitlist?

Well, at least you wouldn't have to choose between Mich+50k and Chicago at sticker. That would be one hell of a tough choice, if you ask me.Helmholtz wrote:I appreciate your relentless optimism.VoidSix wrote:Waitlist.

Wtf is it about me that makes schools take forever to review my file? Seriously.georgina wrote:UR 11/25 here, still.
EDIT: Sorry, I shouldn't complain, but Chicago and Harvard's machinations are infuriating.

They don't offer full-rides. They're pretty liberal with auto-rejections though. hthVoidSix wrote:Full scholarships?crackberry wrote:There are a few of us. It'd be funny if they held on to a last group of auto-rejects until the very end of the time frame and then emailed them and made fun of them. Funny, but unlikely.hopefulundergrad wrote:They don't offer full-rides. They're pretty liberal with auto-rejections though. hth

Yes that would be amusing. I'd actually kind of appreciate that email. It would provide me justification to write a scathing response, to which I would gladly BCC TLS if I could.hopefulundergrad wrote:Dear Applicant, crackberry wrote:It'd be funny if they held on to a last group of auto-rejects until the very end of the time frame and then emailed them and made fun of them.
