Starting to think, as mentioned above, that we're screwed for the PILS.
My understanding per the website was that some of us would be invited to submit an essay and then interviews would take place in March.

Is it the case that they just email people and auto-request an interview without some sort of additional application material? I know they changed the PILs program this year so I really don't know what to think.

I haven't heard of anyone getting a PILS invite yet. Has anyone else?

I've been complete since early Jan and am also waiting. Heard of group and alum interviews happening in my city but invited to neither. Numbers aren't good so I can't say I'm surprised.... but I wish that if they'd already taken a look and determined I'm so unlikely that I shouldn't interview they would go ahead and ding me. It's hard to get excited about the options I do have when I am holding out hope for GULC.

FWIW some people have gotten in without interviewing. Pretty sure that's only if your numbers are exceptional, but if that's the case for you, maybe that's what's going on.

I've been complete at Georgetown since the end of January (don't know the exact date, but maybe 1/30 or 1/31?) How long would it take to hear back about an interview, etc.? I've seen others who went complete at the same time already get interview requests, so I'm a bit nervous.

Just had alumni interview. The interviewer is a very nice lady and we talked about my academic performance and my personal experience and she gave me a lot advice.

So does Georgetown notify you when your application gets held? My application has been complete since 12/21 and I interviewed with an alum 1/23. Since then I haven't heard anything on their end.

Yes, if you are put on hold you will get an email saying such.

Yes, it takes a few days for the ID and PW to be activated after they're generated. This happened to me too.

Yes, it takes a few days for the ID and PW to be activated after they're generated. This happened to me too.

Yup! Got my acceptance letter today (interviewed exactly a week ago with one of the DC groups) so it's legit.

OMG, OMG. ASW trick worked!!!!! I was an Early Decision applicant rolled over into the regular pool. Georgetown is my first choice. Part of me won't believe it until I get the letter in the mail.
