With exactly two exclamation points because HLS is petty.

a lot of people recently (especially people with good numbers) have started getting fairly short response times, because it's late in the cycle. So I wouldn't be surprised if you got a JS1 in the next couple of weeks, although I wouldn't count on it.CA1993 wrote:Anyone else apply mid-late Jan and still waiting for a JS1? If I haven't heard yet is that a bad sign or a medium sign...

Just had my JS1, want to send something classy but don't want to make Ood's mistake and take too long.
Emailed Amazon gift card good enough?
ETA since my identity will be immediately apparent to any H adcomms, this is a joke. Will def send a thank you email because offering night time interviews is amazing and they should know that.

Re: Harvard Law c/o 2020 Applicants (2016-2017)
Guys I messed up. I told my mom about how I was joking on here about the arrangements and she actually thought it was a good idea.
She sent one to the office and not to a particular person.
She signed using her maiden name, but she swears she didn't use my name.
I tried to cancel the order, but I need her credit card number and she wouldn't give it to me.
It went out today.
I'm panicking.
The message was along the lines of "last week you interviewed my son. He would not stop talking about how excited he was to attend. Thank you for giving him this opportunity."
I told her only those that interview get in. So she thinks that means an interview is a acceptance. She is adamant that they can't rescind this non-existent offer.
Anyways, what is the damage here? Would the dean's even see the bouquet? I suspect it will just go to office frisgr and an intern will eat it on her break.
Should I email the office and apologize using a fake name? I want to throw them off my scent.

Is that true? I haven't heard that.wheathins wrote:Is there anyone here who got into HLS who was rejected before?
Anecdotally, if you've been rejected before, you're pretty much done, right?
If that's true, I probably should've retaken and applied early in the cycle next semester... Oh, well, alea iacta est et cetera.

There were four JS1 waves in the first two weeks of February last year. I believe we only had one so far?

Yeah, I think it's just been one...does that mean we might get one at the end of this week, then two next week (praying)?nimbus cloud wrote:There were four JS1 waves in the first two weeks of February last year. I believe we only had one so far?

JS 1 yesterday, for how many weeks should I unsubscribe from this thread before I can safely start looking at js2 waves?
Also do people get dinged after js1 or is it usually js2 or wait list

I had JS1 in early December and subscribing to this thread since then has driven me slightly insane. I recommend total abstinence.Dr.Degrees_Cr.Cash wrote:JS 1 yesterday, for how many weeks should I unsubscribe from this thread before I can safely start looking at js2 waves?
