If UVA gives me a good scholarship I will cry, pop open a bottle of champagne, and immediately look for an apartment. The longer I have to wait, the more intense and uncontrollable my sobbing will be if it happens.

Had a dream UVA gave me $135K in scholarship money. Didn't want to believe it wasn't real when I woke up.

I just realized that I didn't fully submit my FAFSA last week to them, I just submitted it now. Do you think this has any affect on merit aid awards?
And, just to check, we don't have to submit CSS PROFILE or any other scholarship app form to them?

So I'm planning on being in the cville area next weekend and was thinking of dropping by for a visit. Have people who've visited found it worthwhile? Did y'all just drop in or did you email ahead?

If you go on a weekday, admissions runs daily tours at 11:30. It's run by a law student, and you can ask questions, meet current students, etc. Worthwhile if you're already going to be in the area to get a feel for the school.Mint-Berry_Crunch wrote:So I'm planning on being in the cville area next weekend and was thinking of dropping by for a visit. Re: UVA c/o 2020 Applicants (2016-2017)
I went on a Friday, when they had the 11:30am tour and the 3:00 admissions Q&A. I called the day before just to let them know I would be there and to confirm that those events were still happening. I found my visit worthwhile (although I'm currently WL'ed so my motivations for visiting are likely different than yours).Mint-Berry_Crunch wrote:So I'm planning on being in the cville area next weekend and was thinking of dropping by for a visit.
