Seems like the next highest amounts given after rubies is 75k
Cause I'm seeing mid 170s+ and 3.8+s get only 75k

Their 75th percentile grant amount per year is $30k, which means I'd expect to see some $90ks out there, unless the $75ks are stepped down in the third year (i.e. $30k + $30k + $15k).TAD wrote:Seems like the next highest amounts given after rubies is 75kCause I'm seeing mid 170s+ and 3.8+s get only 75k

Didn't realize it, but I went UR3 on the 9th. Haven't been checking my Chicago tracker as much because it's a reach.

Oh, didn't even realize that. I think duke dropped 144k scholarships this year, skipping straight to 120k. So maybe you're right and Chicago is pulling the same type of thing.AndromedaGalaxy wrote:Their 75th percentile grant amount per year is $30k, which means I'd expect to see some $90ks out there, unless the $75ks are stepped down in the third year (i.e. $30k + $30k + $15k).TAD wrote:Seems like the next highest amounts given after rubies is 75kCause I'm seeing mid 170s+ and 3.8+s get only 75k

Didn't you finish the interview yesterday? That should be UR3 then if I'm not mistaken - I think you still have several weeks before a decision.chandhi wrote:UR4 today.

Did you get your interview invite after UR2?chandhi wrote:I finished my interview yesterday, went UR3 in the afternoon, and had a new UR date today... any insight?bearedman8 wrote:Didn't you finish the interview yesterday? I think for most people it goes UR1 --> interview invite --> interview --> UR2 (same day) --> UR3 (day after or so) --> UR4 a few days before decision.

You might've had UR1.5 if this is your 4th date change. I interviewed on the 6th, had a date change about an hour after my interview, and then another date change (UR3?) on the 9th. Either way, I'm pretty confident that it'll still be a while before you get your decision.chandhi wrote:I finished my interview yesterday, went UR3 in the afternoon, and had a new UR date today... any insight?bearedman8 wrote:Didn't you finish the interview yesterday? I got $120k, but it seems like an outlier.TAD wrote:Seems like the next highest amounts given after rubies is 75kCause I'm seeing mid 170s+ and 3.8+s get only 75k

That's OK haha I just thought the interview went so badly that they decided to ding me immediately. Thanks!bearedman8 wrote:You might've had UR1.5 if this is your 4th date change. Re: Chicago C/O 2020 Applicants (2016-2017)
Actually, IIRC, I went UR4 about a week after my interview, admitted 3 business days later. So if you've just gone UR4, you should expect to hear back in the next 1-3 days.chandhi wrote:That's OK haha I just thought the interview went so badly that they decided to ding me immediately. Does today's scholly wave mean the rest of us are going to have to wait 1 week+ or could we be seeing another wave sooner than that?
