yeah it really seems to me that they are admitting people relative to where they fall along the medians, specially LSATs.brinicolec wrote:It's a bit unclear. I went UR2 1/6 and I'll be sure to let y'all know when I get a decision *hopefully an acceptance* but I'm pretty sure some people don't go UR2 at all, some people stay UR2 for quite awhile, etc. Not really sure if it means anything.scoot456 wrote:Complete: 1/3

How long does it take from UR2 to DLS?

Re: NYU c/o 2020 Applicants (2016-2017)
So, after creeping on LSN, I realized 1) it doesn't look like they've given out many decisions to sub-3.5 applicants yet. I saw three, maybe, all with LSATs above 170; 2) there haven't been any rejections yet this cycle. This prompted me to look at last year's LSN and rejections appear to have started in the beginning of February; 3) also, just based on the amount of reported acceptances so far, there's still quite a few acceptances that haven't been given yet. There were about two and a half pages worth of acceptances last cycle; there's only like half a page or so worth of acceptances so far this cycle.

Yeah maybe the Anbryce has something to do with the UR2 movement today since I didn't apply for ABscoot456 wrote:URM: MAwildquest8200 wrote:(not OP but) I'm UR1 1/4/17, UR2 1/17/17 but I also applied for AnBryce. 25th<LSAT<50th, GPA<25th. How long does it take from UR2 to DLS?
LSAT & GPA ~25th
AnBryce Applicant
The time between UR1 & 2 seems to be par for the course (i.e. 2-3 weeks), especially when you consider the AnBryce app.

I am also wondering how does scholarship/FA work for NYU. Does anyone know? I am not applying for any of the named scholarship when you apply for NYU through LSAC. Is it still possible to get merit-based scholarship or Financial Aid? NYU admission email said nothing about FA.

I think they're putting out decisions based on where people fall on their stats, tbh.
