Shout out to everyone who has had moment like mine right now: eating sushi in my driver seat of my car across from work before I head to the library to write yet again anther essay, which i have been doing and have had hanging over my head since July.

In addition to all the months studying for two LSATs every waking moment since January 2015, and unsuccessfully spending a month writing a terrible personal statement for an application last year.

Just three more essays to write, can't wait for this process to almost be done

Got tipsy at a [redacted] law reception on my campus and ate a free dinner - I'd do it again for sure. Left before the presentation on the school started to go see The Accountant, which was pretty good too!

My second LOR writer has ghosted me. I didn't know that occurred outside of dating. Look at me, finding new lows.

What's been the timeline of interaction thus far? This strikes me as incredibly unprofessional. Is it a professor or employer? Any backup plans?

He's a former professor and said yes to writing one back on July 5th. He emailed me on sept 19th and said he would submit it soon. Annndd...I haven't heard from him since. I'm applying For a scholarship and the deadline is 11/14 but I told him the deadline was this week. yet he hasn't submitted it or even responded to my emails.

I took the day off of work to visit his office and try to talk to him today...Which makes me feel pushy...but it's too late to ask someone else right now. Besides, the only other professor I had a good connection with is out on medical leave right now

Thanks! Just saw him and he was very apologetic. I think seeing me in person shamed him enough to do it. Fingers crossed!!

I was trying to creep on those who have updated on the "recently updated" tab but there's not 16-17 option there...
