Re: Georgetown C/O 2019 Applicants (2015-2016)
I got tired of waiting and attempted to log into the ASW and they sent me my password and username. There's no way this would work if I weren't indeed admitted, right? They would have just said there was no password for me?

I like your style. I'd imagine it means you're accepted, but I have absolutely no clue.seagan823 wrote:I got tired of waiting and attempted to log into the ASW and they sent me my password and username. Thanks guys. I know that question seemed insane. Sometimes you just need validation from complete strangers.

It probably means good news! I just tried and I got "Your username and password could not be generated at this time. Please double-check that the information you entered was correct." so being able to get a password and username must mean something!seagan823 wrote:I got tired of waiting and attempted to log into the ASW and they sent me my password and username. Re: Georgetown C/O 2019 Applicants (2015-2016)
Hi all, I am just wondering if anyone has received any mailing from Georgetown beyond their initial acceptance letter. I received the note saying I was accepted in November, but nothing since. I live abroad so I wanted to check if this is just because Georgetown hasn't sent anything else, or there is a problem and I need to follow up with them. Thank you so much!

Has anyone held from December heard anything yet from Georgetown? I searched the thread word held and I don't think anyone has mentioned any decisions.

+1 see you there!OutOfTheQuestion wrote:Hey guys, major lurker here. I just received an invitation to have a group interview via skype with Dean Cornblatt. For those who have gone through this, what is it like? I read somewhere in this thread that the group interview is mainly you interacting with the other folks being interviewed, but that sounds strange. Anyone have an idea of what kind of questions to expect? Thanks!

I think it was mentioned before that held apps got decisions on or close to the date mentioned in the held email (late Feb.?) but I could be remembering wrong.cub1014 wrote:Has anyone held from December heard anything yet from Georgetown? Has anyone ever been accepted while unable to generate a password for ASW? A little worried here... it's been over three weeks since I submitted ED. Haven't heard back and haven't been able to generate password

You can't generate a password for ASW unless you've been formally admitted and they generally don't enable ASW until your postmark date (or around there). If I remember correctly, ED has been taking longer than they estimate/advertise so don't worry until you get the ding.ryank1993 wrote:Has anyone ever been accepted while unable to generate a password for ASW? Thanks! So is a letter in the mail an acceptance for sure? And an email is only waitlist/ding?tflan19 wrote:You can't generate a password for ASW unless you've been formally admitted and they generally don't enable ASW until your postmark date (or around there). Dinh made the girl in my con law class introduce herself then she bounced like 15 minutes in. maybe she thought no one would notice, but we ALL noticed.
