Just got an interview invite with Cordel. I wasn't expecting it considering my numbers. Does anyone know what the dress code is for a Skype interview? I assumed business attire, but based on other info I've seen, it seems like it might be less formal.

Congrats! I wore a blazer, but it was pretty relaxed. The interviewer was wearing work attire.

Cool, thanks! Did they ask you the same questions that other people have already posted (why UVA, why law school, etc.)?

Applied BD Nov 12 and went UR Nov 13. I got waitlisted today after a week and a half of pins and needles. Killing me softly! I'm kissing UVA goodbye at this point, but also planning on sending a LOCI in the next few weeks for good measure. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Is anyone else having a ton of trouble getting onto the status check? Mine keeps telling me it needs access to my keychain and to authenticate the server but keeps asking over and over no matter if I say allow or deny.

I applied on 11/12 (11 days ago as of today) and still haven't received a confirmation email/status checker login information. Is anyone in the same boat? Are they just really busy right now?

Are you using Safari? I had the same issue. Use Chrome or Firefox and it'll work.

I vaguely remember people mentioning that "Type: Regular" was added to their status checkers...

Does anyone else remember this/does anyone remember if that translates into receiving a decision soon?

I don't think this is true? Mine has it, but I think it always has had it. I think it just means RD or ED. Can anyone else confirm?

Submitted last night 11/23, went complete this morning 11/24 and just went UR this afternoon. Surprised at how quickly it's moving!

I don't have a Skype...is that going to impact me negatively? Or if they want to interview me, are they pretty much gonna tell me to make a Skype?

Lots of people did interviews over the phone, so likely will not impact you at all. Good luck!

Does UVA send the acceptance packet and letter in the mail as soon as you are accepted? Haven't gotten anything yet.

I got my packet over a week after being accepted. I did get an email telling me it was on the way though.

I've never received an acceptance email or an email indicating my package is on the way. Guess ill wait awhile then email them.

That might mean they haven't made a decision yet...? Either that or check your spam folder?
