I had a few deposit fees listed but with 0.00 that changed to actual numbers once I was accepted (...okay I'm just talking about UVA)rebexness wrote:This is maybe a stupid status checker question:
But if under the fees section it says "App Fee" "First Deposit" and "Second Deposit"
is that...indicative...to anything?

Check mark (placeholder) on when/if they got your money is my guess. This early I doubt it is anything else. GLrebexness wrote:This is maybe a stupid status checker question:

Re: TLS c/o 2018 Applicants
question- I've heard that LORs are almost always written on university letterhead, but isnt it different for online one's? like if my reccomender just types it up in word and uploads it to the lsac's lor service, its good right? or are letterheads neeeded for online and paper typed ones?

I'd imagine a word doc uploaded to the LSAC will be just fine.Adrian Monk wrote:question- I've heard that LORs are almost always written on university letterhead, but isnt it different for online one's? like if my reccomender just types it up in word and uploads it to the lsac's lor service, its good right? or are letterheads neeeded for online and paper typed ones?

Re: TLS c/o 2018 Applicants
Someone want to help me out please?
I'm trying to write my last Why X, but I realize as I'm writing it that I can't convincingly right anything about it. It's a school I want to attend because it does a great job placing its grads in big law. It has no other features that I can even remotely spin. Should I just ditch the Why X?

Re: TLS c/o 2018 Applicants
Is it a required essay? You could be honest and say it has a good reputation amongst potential law students for turning out big law caliber students? If your profile in LSN is accurate...why are you writing that essay at all except to tell the truth about 'you' being a good potential candidate for big law and want the best training possible.MidwestLifer wrote:Someone want to help me out please?

I could do something later but 4 EST is 3 my time and that is too early for me. I'd be better at more of a 7-8 EST chat. when I get home i will check and see if its still going on.
