This is true.

I got the acceptance email the day after my update changed for the final time... So there's really no way of knowing for sure via status checker.

Same here. Amid having to write an appeal letter that spilled my entire financial life to them. It was a little embracing but I assume it saved me over 2K that I honestly did not know where I'm going to get.

Yeah, that whole process was really frustrating, especially since I'm not used to having to beg for money. It was worth it in the end, though, and I definitely would not have been able to afford to apply to more than a couple of schools without it.

Yeah, that whole process was really frustrating, especially since I'm not used to having to beg for money. It was worth it in the end, though, and I definitely would not have been able to afford to apply to more than a couple of schools without it.

Yup. Exactly. I applied to 25 schools. I assume that without it I would applied to maybe 2-3 schools and even that was a huge stretch for me.
