sooo i cant even find a page on their website that discusses their merit scholarship policy (ie sep app, auto consider, need linked, independent, etc.). That is not a good sign.. is GULC really stingy?

Yes, they have the reputation of being really stingy.

I thought you had a full ride to UVA?

My alumni interview was on 1-4
Went complete the next week
Got acceptance this last wednesday
Did your dates update after you went complete?

Honestly I don't remember, I am watching 19 schools......i don't all of them check them everyday...
just paying attention to Complete, Accepted/Rejected...

I know it's a long thread but if you're curious go back and read it to find the answers. Georgetown does indeed have a pattern, probably been discussed every 5 pages or so as people re-ask instead of reading the whole thing.

Got a request for an interview on Jan 8 and replied in the affirmative. Have heard nothing since.

Should I follow up with an email?

And will it kill my chances if I just say to go ahead an review it without?

They're starting to lose me.

Maybe you should follow-up. I wish I had earlier when my interviewer took an eternity to get back to me because, after reading general turn-around times, it seems that interviewers generally respond within two weeks or so.

Hey guys.

Some of you may have seen some stats-based stuff I have been posting in other forums. I have been working a lot on it, trying to kill time while application decisions trickle in. Most of the stuff I did over the last couple days was based on the last cycle, or the last two cycles. I've started to put together individual school analysis based on ALL the available data on LSN now, so I'll post them to the corresponding school's threads. This would probably have been more useful/interesting for people a few months ago, but what the heck.

Image

This table is based on logistical regression analysis of data from Law School Numbers. It includes all accepted and rejected applicants from the 2003/4 cycle up until the present (2012/2013) cycle. It does not include waitlisted applicants (unless they indicated that they had been ultimately accepted or rejected). Please keep in mind the nature of the data when interpreting these results.

Also, keep in mind that this analysis is based only on the outcomes for the indicated school’s applicant pool compared to each other, and does not necessarily mean that “numbers aren’t important” to any particular school.

Eventually, once I've slogged through everything, I'll compile lists and, where they'd be helpful, charts comparing data across schools. I'm no stats expert, but I picked up some stuff in grad school, and I enjoy it.

Applied 1/14
Received 1/something
Switched to ED
First Complete 1/25
Second Complete 1/29

I know the rejections, holds, and WL come via e-mail, but does anyone know how quickly after the second completion those usually go out? I think I've seen two days in this thread, but not a lot of rejections reported.

Had my interview on Sunday and just had a status update. Does this mean they've received by interviewer's evaluation? and how many updates after this before I hear back? Merci

Just got a request for an alumni interview. I'm pretty surprised, I figured they would look at my application and throw it in the trash.

I got an interview request today as well, which seems to be the case for borderline applicants (I think earlier in this thread some posted stats that 39% of interviewees were accepted, 37% were put on preferred waitlist, 17% were put on general waitlist and 7% were rejected) So hopefully this is a good sign. Good luck everyone!

Any chance you could point me to where that stat is posted? It's encouraging, if true!

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
