My cycle is, admittedly, going well. But I think the good karma that's been fostering me along is hitting it's ceiling with Duke. That being said, I think you have a shot!

Would you even attend Duke if you get in? It looks like you have Northwestern and UT Austin in the bag, and still a chance at Chicago.

Duke is my #1 because of geography + also because it's a great school.

I would definitely consider it. I live in Texas right now and need to get out ASAP, so applying to UT was really only a boon to family. In terms of regions, I want Chicago or the South. So, I guess I'm not sure, but it would definitely get ample consideration!

Geography is worth about 7 ranking spots to me. If Duke decides to un-waitlist me I think I'd go there over CCN barring some unfriendly $$ situation.

Geography means a lot. I have a wife and house in NC. If I don't get Duke I will probably drop 20-30 spots and go for the huge merit aid at WFU, and plan to practice in state.
