Maybe there was a mistake? They included admits in the reject pile and are scrambling to fix it?

I don't want to upset anyone because I love you all dearly, but my decision wasn't posted for days after I got the decision e-mail

(it was the congratulations e-mail though so horray!)

Our online status check is currently inoperable. We apologize for any frustration this may have caused in trying to download your decision letter this evening. We expect to have the system back up and running by tomorrow afternoon and you will be able to pull up your letter at that time.

If the existence of a 'congratulations' email is true and consistently transmitted for each batch of decisions all of us who received an email today, know what our decision is already.

The probability of being accepted after being held or waitlisted is lower than the original probability of acceptance. Hence, for planning purposes the congrats email is a high probability starting point.

They seem to be putting a lot of people on hold...assuming no one got a congrats email as well. Anyone know when they started outright waitlisting people?

I can't tell if that means we weren't rejected (aka WL/hold) OR if it means it just wasn't an ENTIRE batch of rejections

No it looks like it means either WL, Hold, or acceptances

No it looks like it means either WL, Hold, or acceptances

well not acceptances cuz then we would have gotten a congratulations email right? but in any event that is good news!

I just got offered a guaranteed scholarship if I defer a year (I'm 20 years old and they want me to have more work experience). Maybe some of the other letters are 1 year deferrals too?

How were you offered this? In an email or via status checker? PS congrats!! Your LSAT is 9 points higher than mine, so I highly doubt I'll get a guaranteed scholarship in a year
