So I checked my status last night, and it still says I'm in review as of 2/9, but a decision letter was apparently mailed on 2/28. I haven't gotten the letter yet.

Anyone have any clue what this means?? Did they just fail to update my status? I just really hope the letter wasn't an error :/

Yes, UW is notorious (this cycle, at least) for not updating the status checker. Numbers? I'm in the 02/28 Decision Letter Sent group and I'm trying to guage whether or not they are admit/deny letters.

Yeah, I don't think UW has been good about updating the status checker. My online status page says "Decision 2/24," and does not have "decision letter sent" under the mailings, but I received my acceptance letter a couple days ago. The letter was dated 2/25.

I actually got an acceptance from one school that was in a small envelope - was a total head-fake. Though I assume that is not the norm.

So has anyone here gone through the scholarship application process at UW? The prompt for the 'scholarship essay' doesn't seem to leave room for negotiating. My instinct tells me to just write a good essay, submit and wait to see what they offer before using my other offers as leverage... but I'm fearing that they won't get around to even sending the first offer until my April 8th UMN seat deposit comes around.

I think being in Germany nine hours ahead of PST makes things worse. I obsessively check my status and TLS all day long with no updates because most of you are still sleeping. It's sad, but I can't help it.

Inquiring minds want to know, though These be big decisions to be makin'! My poor hubby has to be submit his pharmacy school paperwork in like 2 weeks or he's stuck here another year. We did the long-distance thing in the military, forget that noise.

Yeah, I did the scholarship form thing and FAFSA.
