Anyone else with any WL movement? Keeping my fingers crossed over here I get pulled off before I have to fully commit to another school, I really loved my visit at emory

Well my phone just now decided to tell me that I got a call from Emory on Thursday.. No e-mail though. I called back to leave a message but obviously the office is closed for the weekend. I really hope I don't lose my spot over this

(assuming they were calling to offer me a spot off the WL)

I highly doubt they'd take away your spot just because you didn't answer the phone once. I'm sure they'll try again Monday.

Does anyone know if they send you some sort of confirmation email after they've received your deposit? USPS claims to have dropped it off on Saturday, but I haven't heard anything from the school yet.

this is what I got in my email:

Hello,
This is to inform you, your 1st Seat deposit has been received by the Office of Admission. Your 2nd seat deposit of $500.00 must be submitted by or before postmarke deadline of June 1st, 2011. If you have further questions please feel free to contact the Admission Office.

Thanks for letting me know! I'm pretty paranoid about losing my seat because of bureaucratic oversight/the ineptitude that is USPS so I will bug them about not emailing me tomorrow.

I just received a package from Emory center for the study of law and religion, and there is an invitation letter to join a select group of students in the joint degree programs. Does anyone know what this means? I didn't receive an acceptance letter, but I was on the WL.
